Had a short trip to the beach tonight. It was nice to finally sit and relax by the water. I don't know if it was the sand between my toes, the water splashing, or the raw materials surrounding me, but I instantly felt a sense of calmness overcome me. With summer coming to an end I really am trying to make moments like these last. With this being my first summer living in the city I have to admit, I could not be happier with the outcome. I pushed boundaries, met great people, and had experiences I never thought were possible. Mid September I will have resided in this great city a full year.. more or less I survived. I cannot wait to see what the city has in store for me in the future.
